Dr. Daisy Sutherland is the Founder and CEO of Dr. Mommy, LLC, a Doctor of Chiropractic by profession, a devoted wife and mom to 5 children. She put her profession aside in order to home educate her children and has never looked back. She loves to teach others about health, nutrition but her first love is being a parent and instilling values and morals in her children in hopes that they will stay with them for a lifetime.

Those who knew her in the past would never believe that she would be married, much less have 5 children. But, apparently there was bigger and better plans in store for her.

Now she has 5 children ages 6 to 18 and loving every minute of it. It has not been a bed of roses, but she has managed to learn from the mistakes she may have made and the ones her parents made. Yes, amazing how we learn so much from our parents and then repeat the same mistakes with our children.

Dr. Sutherland is here to tell you that it’s okay and she can help you, why?  Because she’s a Retro Mama and can show you how you can be one too.

She has experienced both the trials and joyous moments of being a parent. The patience that has been instilled in her is truly a gift from up above and one that she has taught others to possess. Parenting is not an easy job but one that is very fulfilling. As parents we are to nurture, teach and prepare our children for adulthood. All this is possible without us losing our minds or our hair in the process.

With 18 years of experience as a mother and more years as a doctor and nutrition expert, she has learned that good parenting is a balance between healthy living – mind, body, and spirit. When we focus on those three aspects and learn how to teach our children about respect, responsibility, and a healthy lifestyle, it really does give them a true sense of being and determining their true path in life.
